„Who’s gonna stand up and save the world“ – Wer steht auf und rettet die Welt, so lautet der Refrain in Neil Youngs neuem Stück „Stand Up and Fight“. Young schrieb dieses Stück als Hymne für die Klimabewegung.
Young steht so sehr hinter diesem Song, dass er drei ganz unterschiedliche Versionen davon herausgebracht hat. Die Crazy-Horse-Version, die zu hören ist, wenn man das Bild anklickt, wurde am 26.09.2014 in Liverpool live aufgenommen. Weiter gibt es eine Solo-Acoustic-Version und eine grandiose Orchesterversion mit 92 Instrumenten und Chor, die in diesem Beitrag im Rolling Stone verlinkt ist.
